I recently joined Gordon Brewer on his podcast "The Practice of Therapy" to talk about marketing for therapists. He said something important and profound early on in our conversation that I want to share with you.
"Marketing is no different than what we do in a session building engagement with clients."
Using language tailored to our ideal clients and speaking to their pain and their hopes is WHAT WE DO. All day, every day, in sessions with our beloved clients.
Once we start thinking about marketing as an extension of our therapy skills, it seems less scary, yes?
